YES, I was a student at I.S. 278! I attended Marine Park - 278 for only 2 years, from 7th to 9th grades. During my stay at Marine Park, the school had a 2-year SP (Special Program). So, I went from 7th to 9th grade - skipping 8th grade. I.S. 278 contained 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, not the current 6th, 7th, 8th grades. In 278, I worked in the school supply room and music room.

I attended Brooklyn College intially majoring in Computer Science, in the early 1980's -- during the birth of the personal computer. However, I later went back to "Brooklyn" to obtain my teaching certifications, with a major in American History. My areas of focus included; Geography, Early Colonial America, American Government, American Diplomatic History, Military Warfare and Strategy, Numismatics, and Archival Management. I was so impressed with the quality of professors in the History Department at Brooklyn College, I returned to obtain my Masters' degree.
